The Reception Lounge

Furnished with the finest selection of Bo Concept furniture, the reception lounge is the entrance way into Wentworth Grange. Relax in large sunken chairs and sofas, surrounded by artworks and ornaments to give the space a real feel of luxury. Read the daily newspapers, enjoy a cup of tea, or just sit and watch the world go by.

The Gardens

Beautiful to look at, beautiful to experience and to sit in; that’s the way we’d best describe our gardens. Edwardian in origin, but now with a contemporary twist that is ever evolving, it’s a garden that is loved by my our guests and families. Every part of the garden can be easily accessed by paths that meander in all directions and inevitably pass numerous areas to sit and relax, maybe enjoy a drink or a meal.

We have introduced what we call “The ski lodge” in the gardens. This is designed to be a space to sit back and enjoy nature; a sort of ‘lounge in the garden’. The ski lodge is an ideal venue to entertain family and friends, have that al-fresco meal, have a barbeque or just relax.

We have many species of birds visiting the gardens, and our very own hens wander freely, busily digging up the flower beds. We also have our much-loved rag-doll cat roaming the grounds whilst teasing the birds.

The Summer House

The 150-year-old summer house has forever been a feature in the gardens of Wentworth Grange. Today it is a place to enjoy view of the lawns and our magnificent 150 year old cedar tree. This beautiful tree started its life as a seed brought back from Lebanon, and is just one of the many wonderful trees we have in the estate.

The Garden Room

In the centre of the garden, nestled between the apple trees and the yew hedge sits The Garden Room. Its aim is to offer a ‘lounge in the garden’; a place to sit in comfortable furniture with family and friends, enjoying the views. Tea and coffee making facilities are available, and staff are always available to help, but having some quiet, independent family time making a cup of tea without the intrusion of staff is sometimes enjoyed too. For those families who are on the adventurous side, we have also provided a pizza oven and barbecue.
